Ingredients:
1. 1 cup canned beans
2. 1/2 cup mushrooms
3. 1 cup milk
4. 2 spoons flour
5. 1 spoon butter
6. 2 cups fried onions
7. 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
8. 1 spoon salt
9. 1 cup cheddar cheese
Procedure:
1. In a pan, add butter, flour, and milk to make the sauce. Now add mushrooms, 1 cup fried onions
2. Add cayenne pepper, salt, and beans.
3. Saute it for 7-8 minutes.
4. Take it off the flame, and transfer it to the baking tray.
5. Add the remaining crispy fried onions and cheddar cheese to it.
6. Bake it in a preheated oven at 350°C or until bubbly.
7. Green bean casserole is ready to be relished.
In case making it ahead of time:
1. It can be prepared 48 hours ahead of serving and frozen for the time being.
2. De freeze it at least 30 minutes before baking.
3. Prepare as directed, except avoid adding crispy fried onions, as they may turn soggy.
4.Bake it as directed, and add the crispy onions just before baking.
5. Green bean casserole is ready to be served.
