Home Remedies for Belching or Burping- It is a process if the discharge of the gas buildup occurring in the stomach through the mouth. It results in a typical sound along with a faint odor at times and is a medical problem. It might be a source of social embarrassment sometimes. The buildup of gas is more likely to occur in the case of small babies due to which causes belching in case the back of the baby is gently tapped. This occurs as the baby swallows air while feeding. Fresh soup also helps in the prevention of the formation of gases in the stomach. Consume fresh garlic soup before each meal or at least dinner to facilitate proper digestion.
Chamomile Tea: Chamomile is extremely beneficial in order to aid easy digestion and calm the disturbances in the stomach which results in the formation of gas. Add about two teaspoons of chamomile tea to a cup of water and let it simmer for about 5-7 minutes. Consume after it cools down a little bit for 1-2 times in a day.
Ginger: Ginger is helpful in eliminating excessive air from the stomach and is, therefore, one of the most effective home remedies for belching. Add some slices of ginger to a cup of water and let it simmer for some time. Consume this liquid after it cools down once in a day. Honey can be added for added taste and benefits.
Black Pepper and Ginger: Make a mixture of dried ginger and black pepper, 1 teaspoon each and 3-4 cardamom seeds. Have a half a teaspoon of this mixture in order to get relief from gas.
Asafetida: Asafetida also facilitates in discharging the excess gas in the stomach along with preventing gas to accumulate further. Add half a teaspoon of asafetida to a glass of buttermilk and consume every day for treating belching or apply a paste of asafetida mixed with water on the stomach to get relief from belching
Lemon Juice and Apple Cider Vinegar: A mixture of apple cider vinegar and lemon enhances smooth digestion and also prevents the formation of acid in the stomach which is responsible for the production of gas. Add one teaspoon of lemon juice and vinegar to a glass of water and take before each meal in order to treat belching.
Anise: Anise is also useful in the prevention of the formation of gas in the stomach along with aiding proper digestion. Consuming anise tea slowly after each meal especially dinner helps in prevention from belching.
