Therefore, here we list out a few homemade skin-whitening masks that will help you remove all the unwanted tan and make your skin glow naturally :
1) Oats and Almond Oil:
This is my favorite and works best to exfoliate your skin and remove all the tan. Oats are proven to be great exfoliators while almond oil works as a great moisturizer.
Procedure :
Mix oats and almond oil ( you can grind oats and use it is as a powder too) in equal amounts. Mix it thoroughly until you get a thick paste. Apply it on your face and leave it for 15 minutes before washing it off.
2) Turmeric and lemon juice :
Turmeric is proven to brighten your skin whereas lemon juice helps in exfoliation and tan removal.
Procedure :
Take 1 tbsp of Turmeric and add few drops of lemon juice to the powder. Make a paste and apply it on your face. Leave it until it dries and washes it off with cold water.
3) Honey and Milk :
Honey is an excellent moisturizer and exfoliator. It helps in tan removal and gives you glowing skin.
Procedure :
Take 2 tbsp honey and add a few drops of milk into it. Mix it thoroughly and apply the mixture on your face with a cotton ball. Leave it until completely dry and then wash it off with cold water.
4) Gram Flour Mask :
Gram flour is being used since ages for better skin tone and as an exfoliator, especially for oily skin. It helps in tan/dirt removal and brightens your skin.
Procedure :
Take 2 tbsp of gram flour and add 1/2tbsp turmeric. Mix the ingredients with a few drops of milk. The mixture eventually turns into a thick paste. Apply the paste on your skin and leave it for 10-15 mins. Wash it off with cold water and see the change for yourself!
Bonus Tip:
Apart from milk and turmeric, you can use Gramflour with yogurt and apply the mix to your face. Let it dry and then wash it off with cold water. Gram flour and yogurt are proven to be excellent exfoliators that will give you glowing skin.
