They allege they’ll help you achieve ketosis within “three days,” “fuel performance,” and “clear brain fog,” among other benefits. The problem is that these powders and pills come at a hefty financial cost, and could have some unintended, undesirable consequences for your health. 

Keto supplements may prove harmful to your metabolism
Keto supplements are known to increase the hormone names leptin, a hormone that helps us feel full most of the time and causes a fall in hormone ghrelin that increases our appetite. when your body starves, it uses up ketones to burn energy and a higher number of ketones in the blood means more harm.
Keto flu is one dangerous side effect
When you start a Keto Diet, the body takes time to adjust to burning energy from fats rather than carbs. This results in extreme dehydration followed by flu-like symptoms such as exhaustion, cramping, fatigue, etc. This is an extremely dangerous stage as the body shifts to a different stage and thus, needs extreme doses of electrolytes. Though keto supplements claim in providing the body with adequate amounts of sodium, It has been proven dangerous as extreme dehydration can be fatal. 
Keto supplements are costly

Not only are the keto diet supplements unhealthy, but those are also a pocket pinching expenditure. They can cost you a lot financially and health-wise too. The Keto supplements are high in MCTs, Multi Chain Triglycerides that are oils which are termed as fat burning. It is said so, as they directly reach the liver and burn the ketones for energy. But these may have plenty of side effects like nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and constipation.
Not in accordance with dietary requirements
This being one of the major concerns, it is not approved by the FDA. We are better off in getting vitamins and proteins from other fruits and vegetables, which are not included in the Keto diet and for the lack of which we need to opt for a multivitamin substitute.
