- Do not drink alcohol to overcome the urge to smoke. In fact, alcohol is known to increase that urge.
- Some natural alternatives-like acupuncture, hypnotherapy, herbal preparations, ginseng, etc. Use them if you wish to. But in the end, remember quitting smoking is entirely your decision.
