Home Remedies for Gastric Pain

Most of us refer to pain or discomfort in the epigastria area as gastric pain. This is a very common problem and is one of the top reasons people visiting their general practitioner. Most often, this pain or discomfort originates in the stomach, the duodenum (the first part of the small intestine) or the gall bladder. Less common are cases where the large intestine or the pancreas is involved.

Gastritis occurs when the lining of the stomach is irritated. This can be due to irregular or missed meals and the consumption of spicy or citrus foods. The discomfort is frequently accompanied by a bloating sensation and / or burping. Avoid foods causing gas including spice food, dairy products, fried products and cauliflower. Slow down and take your time to chew the food properly. Get free for yourself; reduce your stress and anxiety. And mainly say no to alcohol.

Guava Leaves: Boil the Guava leaves in water. Drink this water after getting normal.

Potato Juice: Another best cure for gastric problem is potato juice. Take potato juice and drink about half a cup of it before every meal, do this 2 – 3 times a day for best results.

Ginger Powder: Chew some fresh ginger after every meal on a regular basis you can also drink the mixture of water with a pinch of ginger powder, rock salt and asafoetida.

Baking Soda: Drink half a tsp of baking soda mixed with a glass of water. It can be used as an efficient antacid.

Apple Cider Vinegar: Take a glass of warm water and add 2 tbsp of apple cider vinegar and let the mixture cool down to room temperature then drink it.

Cinnamon Powder: Take half a tsp of cinnamon powder mixed with 1 glass of warm milk, add some honey to it, stir properly and drink it.

Caraway Seeds: Add 1 tsp of the caraway seeds with 1 cup of boiling water, to make a tea. Drink this tea two times daily.

Garlic: Take 2 – 3 garlic cloves and roast them on fire directly and consume it after peeling it. Or else take some freshly grounded garlic cloves and add some water, black pepper and cumin seeds to it and boil them for few minutes.

Fennel Seeds: Take few fennel seeds and mix it with some hot water in a pot and boil if for 5 minutes on a low flame. Strain the water and drink it for fast relief.

Peppermint Leaves: Add some fresh peppermint leaves in 1 cup of water and boil them, not let it steep for a couple of minutes, strain the leaves and drink this herbal tea two to three times daily.

Onion Juice: Onion juice will help you get rid of this problem, but avoid eating any vegetables that cause gas.
